Grassland Monitoring & Vegetation Surveys

Join us for our Grassland Health Field Days, where we will implement surveys collecting data on vegetative cover, species diversity, and soil protection indicators across more than 70 quadrats.

By monitoring both plant communities and ground cover, we assess the impact of rotational livestock grazing on ecosystem function and landscape recovery.

These surveys provide essential data on how regenerative grazing influences erosion control, plant diversity, and microclimate resilience in Colorado’s dryland systems.
