Earth Week Community Tree Planting

Why Plant Trees? In the face of desertification, where our land lay bare and biodiversity scarce, we see not desolation but potential. Trees are the cornerstone of our regenerative design, restoring topsoil, inviting biodiversity, and sequestering carbon. They are the breath of our ecosystem, vital to the resurgence of life in Boulder County. Together, we are DAR: a community dedicated to replenishing our land, restoring our planet, and rekindling the spirit of our community through the power of regenerative agriculture.

Event Details:

• When: April 20th and April 27th, 2024
• Where: Metacarbon Farm. 4640 Hygiene Rd, Longmont, CO 80503. A beacon of hope and regeneration in the heart of Boulder County.
• Time: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Join us as we weave together our collective energies for a day of meaningful action.
• What to Bring: Wear your dedication to the cause—comfortable, durable clothing, closed-toe shoes, and gloves. Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. We will provide the tools and guidance needed to plant our future, one tree at a time.
