Fueling a Fertile Future
As many of you know, this event is a time of celebration and brings hope for us all as a community in connection with land. Without healthy land, there is no healthy community. We will join together to reflect on what has been accomplished over the past season, share in the abundant harvest that September brings, and look ahead for our work to come!
Who: We are farmers, activists, and scientists. We are educators, designers, and researchers. Together, we are DAR: a collective born to holistically regenerate our land and the life that it nurtures.
What: Through research, design, and implementation, we’re starting a movement to replenish communities and agricultural systems while restoring our planet to a thriving state.
Why: We do this because the mistreatment of our land has disrupted culture, community, and climate.
How:
Everything we do starts beneath our feet.
Turning drylands into lush ecosystems.
Replenishing. Restoring. Regenerating.
It’s an impact that’s deeply interconnected: from the micro from the micro flora and fauna, to the trees and their many inhabitants, to the animals who feed from their fruits, to the water they depend on, and to the communities that raise them. It’s community, culture, and climate: and it’s all from the ground up.

The night will begin with a welcoming prayer, followed by cocktails, mocktails and wine. Then a farm-to-table dinner with food grown at our project sites will be prepared and presented by our dear friends, The Forage Sisters. You’ll hear from inspiring regenerative land leaders. Plus, Nick DiDomenico and Marissa Pulaski, DAR’s Co-Founders will share an update on the 2024 season, and look ahead to the future.
The evening will close with a paddle raiser lead by Suzanne Spiegel and live music (we'll announce musical performers soon!) You'll have an opportunity to support DAR’s critical work. The whole family is welcome - there will be childcare on site. We hope to see you there, and are deeply grateful for your presence and belief in a livable future!
