Earthen Building Intensive
Calling all aspiring earthen builders! We are excited to announce that with the influx of Muscovy ducks hatched here at Elk Run Farm, we will be building a new duck house for their winter warmth! We invite you to join us for our 4 day cob building intensive workshop, where we will be building this structure from the ground up. Cob is a fundamentally simple and ancient technique of building with a mixture of clay and sand. The workshop will teach you how to make, play, and build with cob and earthen plasters. Come learn how to build from the dirt under your feet.
