About the Event
FARM HOP: 9am-11:30am
Learn about permaculture design, a science rooted in traditional land management practices, founded on 12 principles and 3 ethics that can apply both to land and human systems. Regenerative farming utilizes traditional ancient land, water, crop, and livestock management techniques to replenish rather than deplete soil and food nutrients.
PeaceJam Presentations: 11:30am-1pm
The PeaceJam Denver Youth Cabinet will be presenting inside the Yellow Barn on all things regenerative ag: carbon sequestration, tree planting, compost and more! Come learn about what's happening at the Yellow Barn Farm and with Drylands Agroecology Research before we begin our annual tree planting event!
